Really digging this trash can! Batteries last a good two months even with frequent use. Its 10-quart size is much more streamlined than the bigger 13Q ones, but still fits a standard kitchen bag. The operation is quiet and smooth. The only downsides are figuring out how to fit the bags so they don’t peek out (the instructions weren’t too helpful there) and sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get a full bag out. But as long as I don’t overstuff it, no issues really.

Wasn’t sure about getting this because of mixed reviews but ended up being the perfect fit for our kitchen. Had issues with removing the bag at first but found a trick to it. Removing that black plastic piece makes it easier to get the bag out. It’s a fantastic trash can, especially liking the flat top and how it opens, really useful when you’re cooking.

The sensor works just right, the mechanism is quiet and smooth, and it’s ideal for a family kitchen. It seems they’ve improved the design because adding and removing bags is simple and the bag holder keeps it out of sight. Only needs three AA batteries. A great find!

Very satisfied with this trash can, and happily recommend it. Its stainless steel design matches our appliances, improving both looks and functionality. The design minimizes openings when closed, which should keep insects out. Unlike our previous can with a foot mechanism, this one has fewer gaps for bugs to get in. It does need batteries to open automatically, but you can manually use it if needed. While you can’t really toss trash in from a distance and expect it to catch, the hand sensor is responsive for normal use. It’s been a significant upgrade for us.

My wife is pretty particular about trash cans and this one passed with flying colors. It doesn’t just look good, it’s functional for hands-free disposal and continuous use. Packaged well and meets all our expectations. It requires 6 AA batteries for the automatic feature and comes with bags, but you can use any 13-gallon bags. The hand sensor and stay-open feature make it indispensable in the kitchen. A great match with our other stainless appliances, not just a necessity but a significant upgrade.

Hello everyone, just upgraded my kitchen with this trash can and it’s been a nice little improvement. Perfect for the holiday cooking marathon and daily use. They offer a variety of motion-sensing cans, and this one was just the right size for my space. Came with a starter pack of trash bags, but I already had some that fit. The stainless steel matches my other appliances and the bag holding mechanism is a smart touch – no more sagging bags. Had to apply a bit of vegetable oil to the hinges for smoother closing, but overall, it’s been a great addition. Still getting used to not having to touch the lid to open it, but it’s a welcome change.
